Emmy nominated and Annie Award winning composer Steve Rucker has been working in film and television for more than twenty years. He began his musical career as a highly successful session pianist/keyboardist recording on platinum albums for Tiffany and Whitney Houston. His work in television includes dozens of series for Disney (“Duck Tales”, “Gummi Bears”), Warner Bros (“Detention”), Nickelodeon (“Chalkzone”), and Cartoon Network (“Dexter’s Laboratory”, Codename: Kids Next Door”). Film credits include “And God Created Woman”, “Creature”, and “Little Nemo: Adventures In Slumberland” which he co-composed and conducted the score with the London Symphony Orchestra. His recent film trailer work includes “Sherlock Holmes 2”, “A Week With Marilyn”, “Thor”  and Apollo 18”. He also recently composed for ABC’s reality series “Supernanny” and “Superstars”, as well as Mike Judge’s “The Goode Family”, Dateline, and National Geographic’s “The Dog Whisperer”..  Steve has also created music for dozens of commercials including Mattel, Xcel , BMW, Disneyland, etc.

He lives with his wife and son in Malibu CA.
